In this article I want to present another wonderful way to make your wedding day more special than it already is: floating flower lanterns.

Floating flower candles have their origin in China, were they were use for special celebrations such as weddings, symbolizing peace, and good wishes and thankfulness. Like wishing sky lanterns, flower lanterns have then been used in Europe and then in USA. A wedding planner should be able to suggest stylish and romantic wedding ideas perfect for the bride and the groom.

If your wedding is taking place at a venue that has a lake or a pond, or even a pool, using floating flower candles would be a great idea, according to northshoreballoondecor.com, as they would make your wedding guest relax and enjoy the wonderful view. Floating mini flower candles can be used in a small bowl filled with water as centerpieces for your wedding tables. If you decide to do so, make sure that the light in the venue is pale, so that the light from the floating mini flower candles create a romantic atmosphere.
