When they found out about this little place called Balea Lake, in Romania, (a country in Eastern Europe) where there is an Ice Church and also an Ice Hotel they knew they had found the perfect venue for their wedding. The Ice Church is situated at over 6000 feet on a mountain, but that didn’t stay in the way of their plans.

The wedding ceremony was very intimate with only family and very close friends. There were only 14 wedding guests but they all agreed that although it has been a little cold, the experience was personalized and unique and that it was worthed going to Romania.
After the ceremony, they had a little reception at a hotel made also of ice. The young couple asked for a special menu with all kinds of fancy and traditional food.

Some of the wedding guests even decided that they want to experience some more adrenaline and chose to spend the night in one of the rooms at the Ice Hotel. They said they never tried it before but that they want to live like Eskimos for one day, to see how it is.
